Sporting Hero Encouragement Program
Some of Australia’s most renowned sporting legends have signed on to help Australian transplant athletes achieve their personal best at this year’s World Transplant Games on the Gold Coast.
The Sporting Heroes will inspire, motivate and mentor Australia’s transplant athletes to help them achieve goals they never thought possible. The program equally aims to inspire the Sporting Heroes with the character and determination of the athletes in their return to sport after a life saving organ transplant.
The sporting heroes will host sports training clinics, motivational talks, on going encouragement and tracking the development of athletes over a six month program. Contact sportingheroes@transplant.org.au for more information.
