Team Managers

The role of a Team Manager

Individuals are encouraged to pre-register their interest in participating in the World Transplant Games.

When an individual completes the Online Registration Process an email is sent to that individual confirming his/her requirements.

A copy of that email is sent to the country’s nominated team manager. That’s why it is important that team managers have registered on our system.

Team managers will then have the opportunity to review and confirm their team members’ involvement in the Games.

Team managers are also responsible for ensuring that Medical Certificates and General Waivers are completed for each participant.

Team Managers also have the responsibility for ensuring that all participants pay the required amount prior to the commencement of the Games.

Team managers are also able to request official letters of invitation to attend the Games for countries where this is required. See Visa Requirements (link) in the Travel and Tours section for more information.

Key Registration Dates

November 2008	Team Managers Registration Opens
November, 2008	Individual and Family Registration Opens
April 30, 2009	10% Deposit of registration fee due to the LOC by participating countries
June 15, 2009	Individual and Family Registration Closes. Final and total payment due to the LOC by participating countries
June 16 to 30, 2009	Team Managers to Review and Confirm Registrations
June 20, 2009	Deadline for Medical Certificates and General Waivers to be submitted by participating countries to the LOC
July 1 to 7, 2009	Deadline for Team Managers to submit and confirm their country entries, medical certificates and waivers. Payment Due
July 10 to 15, 2009	Final confirmation sent to participating countries by the LOC
