Arrival and Departure Transfers
Transfers will be available to and from the Brisbane Domestic and International Airports and the Gold Coast International and Domestic Airports. Transfers will commence from Wednesday August 19 for those arriving with their team. You will be greeted at the airport (once you have cleared customs and arrivals) by one of our friendly volunteers who will escort you to your bus. Your team manager will receive full details on the transfer procedure. The trip from the Brisbane Airport is a little over an hour to the Games Village. The Gold Coast Airport is half an hour from the Games Village.
If you are arriving individually or outside the transfer times, the Airtrain leaves the Brisbane Domestic and International Airports and travels directly to the Gold Coast. You are best to catch the train to Robina Station which is the closest stop to Broadbeach. The train departs from 7am - 8pm each day.
Departure transfers will commence on Sunday, August 31 to Tuesday, September 1. These transfers are for teams travelling together. Many people do have a very early morning flight on Sunday August 31. If this is you, you may need to leave straight after the Gala Dinner on the Saturday night. We will advise your Team Manager of the arrangements for that night. Departures will leave from the Games Village.
We will advise times of available buses or the Airtrain for individual departures.

Transfers during the Games
Transfers to and from all sporting venues will be via the GCCEC.
Although the GCCEC is a short walk from all accommodation venues, mini- buses will be available with timetables available upon registration.
